After completing the ritual, Klaus became more powerful than ever. He embraced his newly-released werewolf side, taking pride in being the first hybrid in existence. His first order of business was to obviously create more just like him. He has his own personal witch, Lily, doing his bidding because Klaus threatened her little brother. She was the one that informed him about human doppelganger blood being the key. Before Elena became a vampire, he took her blood and stored it. Therefore, he has a limited supply and a limited number of potential hybrids. But this hasn’t stopped him from changing pretty much every wolf he’s come across. His first victim was Tyler and this was done as revenge for managing to escape his ritual as the werewolf sacrifice. The two don’t get along; in fact Tyler hates him and is trying secretly to unsire himself so that he can be free and away from Klaus. Klaus dragged Tyler around the country, making him help to find werewolves and change them into hybrids. Since they’ve gotten back, Klaus has been working on a plan to turn one of the Oakley pack into a hybrid – he plans to use Tyler to make this happen. For a while Klaus had Stefan on his side due to a deal being made: Lexi was bitten by Tyler and Klaus agreed to give the Salvatore his blood as the cure. For a while the two travelled the world together, Klaus blackmailing Stefan to stay with him – after all, he simply just wanted his old friend to be by his side again. This was unneeded as Stefan wanted to stay with Klaus for as long as he could, not only to protect the people back home but because Klaus had become his friend. Klaus is still trying to keep Stefan on his side; even now after Stefan turned towards the good side once more. He’s had his eye on Tristan, the leader of the Oakley pack, wondering if he can somehow win him over, also. He is irritated by the fact that Bonnie somehow managed to survive the ritual, but seeing that she’s come back with a darker element to her, he’s interested in turning the witch over to his side. Katherine escaped his grasp as well, as his vampire sacrifice, and Klaus plans on making her pay in as many torturous ways as possible.

Despite wanting his hybrids, part of Klaus does want to reconcile with his family. He and Kol are on rocky terms because of Klaus killing Elena, but since she’s still around as a vampire, Klaus thinks Kol will forgive him. Elijah doesn’t approve of Klaus’ murderous tendencies, but they are still on good terms, Klaus even convincing Elijah to work with him sometimes. He knows Rebekah resents him and is siding with the people that want to kill him and he doesn’t take his sister’s betrayal lightly. Right now, he doesn’t trust her at all, and would rather have nothing to do with her, despite how much it pains him this is because Klaus likes to think he doesn’t have a weakness; that he doesn’t feel for anything or anyone but Caroline has managed to get under his skin. The two spent a weekend in Italy and thought just maybe she’d be willing to get past him being a monster. But over Thanksgiving dinner, he discovered she was playing him all along, using him for information. With that being said, he isn’t too thrilled with the blonde, yet still can’t get her out of his head. They’ve become much closer recently due to Caroline seeking his help in getting Stefan to find his control. This is something Damon hates him for, but Klaus couldn’t care less. In fact it makes him want Caroline that much more. Unbeknown to him at first; one of the brotherhood of five has arrived in town. This could affect his quest on finding the cure for vampirism - something he hasn’t told anyone else about yet but plans on sharing his information with Stefan, hoping the young vampire can help him. Klaus seeks to find the cure in order to cure Elena of her vampire side – therefore bringing back the Petrova bloodline. He also wants to keep it away from his enemies, knowing if any found it they would use it on them.

For a while, Damon actually found he belonged in Mystic Falls. He had a girlfriend, Kayla Valentine, friends he could count on and was working on a plan to undermine Klaus and save the day. Unfortunately, his role as hero of Mystic Falls didn’t last very long as he lost three people close to him in a short space of time. Once Klaus actually initiated the ritual to become a hybrid there were many deaths, including Elena Gilbert. He did manage to save Elena in a way as before the ritual he fed her his blood, ensuring that she would come back when died; but still feels guilty for turning her into something she never wanted to be and is determined to help her any way he can. Losing out to Klaus affected him more than he likes to admit to – causing him to lash out and now is constantly on the brink of switching off his humanity just so he doesn’t have to feel guilty and weak all the time. Now, he’s managed to become friends with ex-girlfriend, Kayla Valentine, after she saw him feeding on several girls with Katherine Pierce. He suspects that she still has feelings for him, as he does her, but is determine to fight them off so that he can protect her and so that she can have a better life away from the supernatural. He’s slowly recovering from the events of the ritual, partly because of the fondness he feels for Caroline Forbes, his girlfriend, the two have even come close to moving in together and are still considering it - he wants to make this relationship work as the blonde means a lot to him.

Now that his brother is no longer loyal to Klaus, Damon wants to work on their relationship - piecing it back together. For the first time in many years they’re living together without anyone else in the house with them. This was mainly due to Stefan’s wants (his younger brother just wanting to connect with his brother again) and even though their relationship is rocky, Damon plans on working things through with him - knowing that really they’re all each other has. Sometimes, Damon feels lonely whilst in the house, especially when he and his brother aren’t getting along and misses the company he used to get when more people lived in the house. He used to get along well with Rebekah, however, he knows it’s probably for the best- due to the fact that she’s in love with him; a fact he readily knows. Another mission he wants to accomplish is the destruction of Klaus and his new pet hybrids; which is only enhanced by Klaus’s obsession with Caroline and his former control over Stefan. He begins by scouting out Bonnie, asking her to help Tyler find a way to break his sire bond from the original. His second task is to find someone to make an alliance with; someone who hates Klaus just as much as he does. He was tempted to work with Katherine, knowing that they made a good team when attempting to stop the ritual, but continues to reject her offers based on the fact that he is trying to remove her from his life. A while ago they both confessed the love they once shared was still there, but Damon has attempted to let that go – knowing how much Caroline hates the vampire. He also considers the Oakleys as allies, beginning to trust select few- but this is only Amber, on account that they are friends and Paige; due to her feisty attitude. He actually hates the leader of the pack, Tristan, because of the way he treats Amber and because he is slightly jealous of his and Katherine’s deep connection.

Noah is probably one of his closest friends and the two hang out regularly; but he cannot stand Noah’s best friend, Brayden, due to his connection with the Valentine sisters.
Jeremy used to class him as a brother, but since the ritual, death and turning of Elena the two don’t get along. The youngest Gilbert no longer wants anything to do with Damon, something Damon is saddened over.
Used to be fond of the older vampire, Jake, but ever since he and Elena begun to get closer, Damon finds himself not able to be around him.
Has a fondness for some of the humans. He confided in Marie a while back, though they’re not close anymore, and when she moved away, he got her father a better job in town so she could move back. He also feels very protective over Riley Valentine, Kayla’s sister, despite the fact that he fed from her twice and tries to keep her safe from the supernatural.
Damon is very suspicious of some of the newcomers in town. He’s heard rumours that Connor is a new hunter and plans to kill him before he can harm any of his friends. He’s also identified some of the newcomers as potential hybrids and wonders whether it would be best to kill them.

Nathan had always been the shy one in his group, but he didn’t care about it. Being best friends with someone like Brandon Mills meant you could stay in your shell and still be included. Up until the age of twelve he lived with his parents in a modest house in the centre of Mystic Falls but after his father lost his job they were forced to move after no longer being able to keep up with the rent. Nathan was pulled out of school and pulled away from his friends; the only friend he managed to keep was Brandon and that friendship mostly consisted of Skype video chats and phone calls. Breaking away from the people he had known since practically birth meant that Nathan could change how he was perceived by his peers, so he joined the football team and started to date one of the many cheerleaders. Life was going good for him until his father suffered an almost fatal heart attack – leading to Nathan leaving school to help his mom look after him. Soon enough the number of friends he had started to drop again, causing Nathan to revert back to the boy he used to be. As much as he loves his dad he feels resentment towards him, even though he knows it wasn’t his fault.

After hearing that Brandon’s brother Gavin has passed away, he tells his parents he wants them to move back to Mystic – and he won’t take no for an answer. They agree as they figure that being close to their families again will mean more freedom for the young boy. So they pack up once again and move back into Mystic with Nathan’s grandmother - it’s not ideal but it’s enough for now. Nathan re-enrols back into Mystic Falls High with the intention of making up for the time he lost, but to do this he has to get a tutor so he is assigned Alexis Reynolds to help him – the two don’t get along and are always fighting. Brandon introduces him to Rebekah, the fact that she’s a vampire unknown to him, and he soon becomes a bloodbag for her, she compels him to keep it a secret from Brandon of course. As it was his idea to move back to Mystic he wants to help his family with the rent and such so he finds himself a job, becoming an apprentice at the local mechanic’s, there he meets Aiden. Nathan looks up to him, something Aiden both likes and hates so the two have a slightly rocky friendship from the start.

Used to be good friends with Bonnie, so he’s working on becoming friends with her again – reigniting the slight crush he used to have on her.
Whilst working he’s called out to look at Charlotte’s car, even though he’s only been working for the company for a little time, he accidently makes her car worse but she finds herself unable to be mad at him after he gives her his best puppy dog eyes.
Intending to join the football team he approaches Tyler, at first the senior laughs him off but after seeing him play he takes him under his wing.

After she was permanently killed, Anna’s only desire was to go back to the real world. The single positive thing about passing away would be to meet up with her mother, Pearl, but Anna was incapable of finding her mother on “the other side.” Instead, she ran into Esther of the Mikaelson family. Apparently while Esther’s body is lying in one of Klaus’ coffins, her soul is stuck on the other side until a witch can open the coffin and release her physical self. When Jeremy became able to contact spirits due to his resurrection, Esther noticed that Anna had that connection to the real world. She told the girl that with her magic, she could help push Anna across that barrier and return her to her normal life. But Esther wanted something in return. Esther ended up helping Anna, resurrecting her, and now it’s Anna’s job to retaliate against the Mikaelsons in anyway she can. Her main goal is to find the coffin Esther is in and get her out of it. Jeremy claimed he would help in any way he can and the two are planning to turn to Sadie to help them.

As long as Esther is still “dead” herself, she has the power to revoke her and Anna’s deal and end the girl’s life once more. In a way, she is controlling Anna, using her as a medium to do her dirty work and free her body from Klaus’ possession. Apart from the duties bestowed on her by Esther, Anna is trying to blend back into a regular life. Since not a lot of people knew about her presence in Mystic Falls, it’s easy for her to come back, none of them aware that she had died. To those who did, Anna lied to them, telling them that her connection with Jeremy was enough to bring her back. Despite lingering feelings for Jeremy, she has decided it’s best to move on from him, as he has confided in her that he’s together with Aiden. One of the things that makes it a little difficult for Anna to go against the Mikaelson family is that her and Kol used to be good friends a while back, before he was daggered. Anna has even gotten closer to Rebekah, seeing as they have a lot in common - losing their mothers, being misunderstood as vampires, and having feelings for Jeremy in the past. Daniel reminds her of Jeremy and she has the urge to be there for him and give him a real friend to turn to.

Seeing as her and Katherine are close in age, Anna technically being stronger than her, Anna’s never afraid to stand up to her and put her in her place. She gets a kick out of ruining Katherine’s plans.
Becomes good friends with Brayden because she sees that he’s lost and she wants to help him out in any way that she can.
Bonds with Lexi, as the two of them are the more harmless vampires in town.

All through her childhood, Sutton struggled to find her group of friends. She was always competing with Chloe to work her way into the popular crowd. For whatever reason, Chloe always resented her, managing to turn a lot of people against her with nasty rumors and general cattiness. Sutton still remained confident and didn’t let the bullying bring her down, maintaining her small group of friends. She always hadLuke by her side, her best friend of years, and was really happy for him when he found his spot by joining the football team. Freshman year of high school was the best year for Sutton. Chloe moved away, which meant Sutton was free to move into her spot as queen bee. While she regained a lot of status and popularity, she still had to put up with Marie, Chloe’s cousin, but Sutton was happy with everything overall. She couldn’t be more irritated with Chloe being back for their junior year of high school and doesn’t plan on letting the girl push her around any longer.

Oddly enough, back when they were younger, Sutton used to be really close toBrandon. He would stick up for her if she needed it and if she needed to vent, then he listened. Now that he’s dating Chloe, her former rival, she can’t help but feel betrayed and has distanced herself from him ever since. When Chloe left, Sutton actually became on decent terms with the girl’s best friend, Alexis, and now with her back, Sutton isn’t sure if she should break ties with Alexis or use the friendship to piss off Chloe. She has stuck with her female best friend, Emily, despite the changes that Sutton has gone through in high school. Sutton still hasn’t grasped the concept that a reputation and having a lot of people that like you isn’t everything. She tries to befriend most of those around her, or at least, the ones worth befriending. Rebekah sticks out to her and as a fellow cheerleader on the squad, she would prefer her to be the captain instead of Caroline. Paige, a new girl this year, has also caught her eye, and Sutton has taken to inviting her to all the social events in Mystic Falls, having a feeling that she’ll be a fun addition to the group.

Has the tiniest crush on Daniel, but isn’t sure if she wants to act on it or not, as they’re from two completely different social circles.
Doesn’t mind Parker’s arrogance at all; she actually finds it attractive. She doesn’t want to become just another notch in his bedpost, but isn’t sure how long she can resist temptation.

As the daughter of a single, teenage mother, Charlotte (or Charlie, as her friends like to call her) grew very close with her mom over the years. They have the epitome of a perfect mother/daughter relationship, Charlotte confiding in her about anything and everything. Her lack of a father figure doesn’t even bother her anymore and she’s accepted that he bailed out a long time ago. Unbeknownst to Charlotte, her father was a werewolf, and she carries the same gene that he did. Her mother has no idea either. Charlotte is living blissfully oblivious of the things that go bump in the night. The only telltale sign of the werewolf curse is her sharp temper. The littlest things set her off sometimes, inexplicable rage washing over her, and she’s been struggling to control it. While others of her kind may notice what this means, Charlotte doesn’t have a clue that if she happens to kill someone, she’ll turn into a wolf every full moon. The ignorance keeps her life normal. She doesn’t know that her best friend since the age of seven, Kayla has been pulled into the supernatural world. The two girls were usually inseparable all through childhood; when you found one, you found the other, and though they’ve had their spats, they’ve stayed best friends.

Like Kayla, Charlotte graduated and went off to college, but the big party school got the best of her. She couldn’t keep up the grades and didn’t have the money to take out enough loans for another semester, so she’s back in Mystic Falls. Charlotte has always been the impulsive, rarely thinking before her actions, but now that she’s an adult, she knows she needs to settle down and find a job. She’s actively searching for work, though she doesn’t have a clue what she wants to be, and doesn’t want to follow completely in Kayla’s footsteps by working with her. Charlotte also developed a close relationship with her sister, Riley, and she looks at both girls like family. Over the years, she grew to accept Brayden as the big brother of their group and even started crushing a little on his best friend, Noah. More recently, she’s started to harbor resentment towards Brayden. She knows that he and Riley are practically in love with each other, despite Brayden being taken, and she hates that he continues to string Riley along. Charlotte also isn’t a fan of Kayla’s feelings for Damon; ever since the two broke up, she’s trying to help her friend move on and find someone new.

Curious about Andrew and why he’s always so broody, wanting to try and break through his shell to see if the boy underneath is worth learning about.
Despite not knowing him for long, her and Aiden have become remarkably close and she would consider him a good friend. She gets the vibe that he and Jeremy are together, though he’s never admitted it to her, and wants to let him know still adores him.

Always the awkward, antisocial kid throughout school, Landon never really fit in anywhere. He’s lived in Mystic Falls all his life, but he spent most of it hiding in the shadows, being the wallflower of the group. He kept to his books and maintained the highest grade point average possible, destined to graduate at the top of his class and go to an Ivy League school. He was the pride and joy of his parents and the one kid that teachers actually seemed to be proud of. However, that wasn’t the life Landon wanted for himself. His head was always in the clouds, stuck in his own little dream world, unable to shake the feeling that he didn’t belong here. He wasn’t your average teenage guy and somewhere, he knew this. He got weird vibes when touching certain people in town, he received vague premonitions of events before they would happen. He came from a long line of witches, his ancestors being some of the most powerful. As curious as he was, he stumbled upon his mother’s Grimoire. Instead of confronting her about it, he started practicing magic in secret. Spells became the priority, school taking a backseat, and he immersed himself in the witchcraft.

After finding his niche, Landon could finally allow himself to be happy. He opened up more, breaking from his quiet, reserved role and starting to take revenge on the bullies he encountered through his childhood. Landon got even. He allowed the magic to take a hold of him, took trips out of town to do more research on darker things, expression they call it. He’s been responsible for a few deaths in town over the years, especially as his magic has matured and his skills have grown. His parents don’t know about the things he’s done, but they do know that he’s changed, and they’re not sure if it’s for better or worse. While keeping magic his main focus, Landon is a teaching assistant at the high school, planning to eventually become a college professor and teach classes on witchcraft - just the mythology and history of it, of course. He could tell that a girl in the same grade as him, Sarah, was also a witch, noticing the telltale signs. Working with her, the two have strengthened their magic together, and he was the one who showed her all the things she could be capable of, even if it was dark. Aware of the Bennett bloodline, the last name being popular among their kind, his goal was to rope Bonnie into it. When Sarah helped bring the girl back to life after the ritual, Landon convinced her to do so, knowing Bonnie wouldn’t come back the same. He knows he’s in over his head, but he doesn’t care; being a witch has given him a reputation and a place to fit in. Between the wolves and the vampires, he’s not on any side in this war, purely looking out for himself.

Resents Noah for trying to keep his sister from her full potential and wouldn’t mind having him out of the picture.
Attracted to Lily and is irritated by her not wanting to join their cause, trying to convince her that if she wants to protect herself, she needs to work with him. He has no idea she’s siding with Klaus.
Wants to learn more about the Originals - their strengths and their weaknesses. He goes for the least threatening one, Rebekah, taking advantage of her naive nature.

Gavin has been aware of his untriggered werewolf gene for a while now. Over the years, he started to notice how his father would always disappear on nights of the full moon. While he figured he must be crazy, little clue - like torn, bloodstained clothing - tipped him off. His parents finally confided in him about the family secret when he was around sixteen, making him swear not to tell his younger brother, Brandon. Gavin never thought it would be a problem for them - because really, what were the chances that he or his brother would kill someone? Apparently it was more possible than he thought, as Brandon got into an accident, wrecking his car, and killing his friend. It was hard to be angry with his younger brother for crashing his car when he was obviously so distraught about what he had done, and he had a lot more turmoil to come. Gavin has tried to be there for his brother through every full moon he’s experienced so far, wanting to make sure that he’s locked up. As he somehow managed to escape on one full moon, attacking Riley, Gavin feels a little guilty and partially responsible.

One thing Gavin hates? Vampires. His closest uncle was murdered by them in cold blood, purely because he was a werewolf. Brandon knows that his brother resents vampires but doesn’t understand the reason why. He always wanted to ignore the other wolves in town, but he wants to try and make sure Brandon is okay, so Gavin has been talking to Tristan and Amber more often. Apart from his nerdiness and slight social awkwardness, Gavin could pose as the perfect package. He’ll be making a lot of money in the future, he has manners (apart from his very messy apartment), he’s charming, he’s attractive. Having a love life has never been a priority to Gavin. Though some of the girls his age, like Sarah and Lily, are enticing, he isn’t really considering making a move on them. Aiden tries to drag him out to parties, but Gavin usually manages to brush his friend off with an excuse. When he was growing up with his parents, the Mills lived across the streets from the Holloways, making him on good terms with the twins, Daniel and Sadie. Because of his brother, Gavin also associates with the younger crowd, including Emily and Marie. He knows that Chloe is dating Brandon and approves of the relationship, thinking a girl could be good for his brother.

Hearing about Kayla finding out about the supernatural, he’s aware the weight of the knowledge can’t be easy for the girl and he feels like he should help her through it.
Thinks the Gilbert siblings are annoying, since the pair of them always seem to be whining about something.

Looking for our last member of the Oakley family!

Carson Oakley • Original Werewolf • 17 • Senior • (Troian Bellisario) • OPEN

Carson is arguably the most levelheaded one in the Oakley family. While Tristan is stressed about taking down the Mikaelsons, Carson is trying to focus on the more normal side of life. She works to get good grades, is on a couple of sports teams, and keeps the house as clean as possible. The last one is difficult when she’s living with her troublesome sister, Paige, whom Carson has to constantly keep in check. Paige reminds her of a female version of Andrew, who can be just as irritating. She’s not sure if living away from her brothers is a blessing or a curse, as the older siblings allowed her and Paige to live on their own so that they could do the same. It still haunts her that she had to murder someone at such a young age, her parents practically forcing her hand. Carson hates the transition more than anything and has been working hard to try and regain more of her human self when she’s in wolf form. Hearing about Tyler being turned into a hybrid, she’s worried about his well-being, wanting to help him in anyway she can, despite the rest of the pack telling her that he’s not trustworthy.

Wanting to fit into Mystic Falls as best as she can, Carson is trying hard to make friends with the locals, no hidden motives behind what she’s doing. Her and Sadie hit it off almost instantly, the girl confiding in her that she’s a witch. She has even befriended humans like Emily and Marie, wanting to keep the two blondes from harm. She takes notice of the more troubled boys, wanting to help them. Jeremy seems like he’s trying to overcome some dark things in his past, so she does her best to try and remind him of how to have a little fun. Stefan is another that catches her eye and she knows that he’s a threat, as he’s been spending a lot of time with Klaus. Instead of killing him, like her siblings would want to, she wants to try and help him. It takes a lot to push Carson to her limit, but for some reason, Parker can really get under her skin. She has a feeling he only flirts with her to get a rise out of Paige, since he used to date her, so Carson is trying to keep her distance.

Doesn’t consider Chloe to be the type that she would usually become close to, but since she’s dating a fellow wolf, Brandon, she’s been trying to give her a chance.
After hearing about what happened after the ritual with Bonnie dying and being brought back to life, Carson is noticing the changes in her personality and is worried about her.

Looking for our last member of the Mikaelson family!

Out of all the Mikaelson siblings, Elijah has the cleanest record. He’s not known for killing just for the fun of it and he’s quite capable of controlling himself. His polite, gentlemanly personality is what makes it easier for him to fit in with the humans in this town. Little do they know, Elijah does have a fair share of blood on his hands. He has murdered many, even if he doesn’t brag or make a show of it, and can be quite ruthless if people set off his temper. Nonetheless, he gains the trust of Elena, who is now a vampire due to his brother’s ritual. He’s a little disappointed in Elena’s choice of friends, since she’s been spending a lot of time around Kol. Although he blows off any of Katherine’s advances towards him, he can’t help but be reminded of their past. Out of all his siblings, Elijah is closest to Rebekah. He and his sister actually planned to move out of Mystic Falls after Klaus managed to get his way and turn into a hybrid, but they decided it would be better if they stuck around. Family above all, correct? Elijah still isn’t sure if he trusts Klaus and is struggling to give him a second chance. He still lives in the Mikaelson manor with Kol and Klaus. Seeing as Rebekah is staying with Damon, he’s trying to convince his sister to move back, or for him and her to get their own place together, as the mansion is becoming overridden with hybrids and Stefan.

Elijah is not quite sure what his intentions are in Mystic Falls. He’s always been stuck with his family, always and forever, and he’s reluctant to leave them behind. But he also doesn’t see why it’s in his best interest to side with Klaus, as practically everyone in the town wants to kill his brother. He wants to make it clear that while he is related to Klaus, he is not as wild or vindictive as him. He makes it his goal to win over the good people of Mystic Falls and keep the target off his back. Strategically, he’s trying to get closer to some of the werewolves, but Amber doesn’t seem to be buying his sincerity. Straying from the Oakley pack, he discovers Gavin, a werewolf who hasn’t even triggered his curse yet, and thinks he may be a good ally in the future. It’s up in the air where his loyalties truly lie and if he would back up Klaus in a fight. Elijah is the only one suspicious of Lily, knowing she’s a witch and questioning her motives, but he hasn’t put two-and-two together that she’s working for Klaus.

While he doesn’t make a habit of opening up to people, he finds it easy to relax around Lexi and has started to consider her a good friend. He promises her that he’ll try to help Stefan in anyway he can, as the Salvatore is currently under Klaus’ thumb.
Knows Jake as a family friend, seeing as he’s on good terms with Klaus, and enjoys spending time with the vampire, even letting his animalistic side out around him.

Two years ago was the beginning of the end for Piper. She had just begun her freshman year of college in Florida and managed to get extremely drunk at a party. When one of her friends suggested a swim in the ocean, her mind couldn’t find anything wrong with the idea. Things were fine until Piper’s friend found herself being dragged out by the current and unable to stay surfaced. Piper blacked out and when she woke up, she learned that her friend had drowned and that she was partially responsible. This triggered the werewolf gene that had lied dormant in her family for centuries. Ever since, she’s hated what she is. The only one she confided in was her father, who helped chain her up every full moon; her mother remained oblivious. For two years she suffered with what she was and what had happened that night at the beach, being forced to drop out of college and pushing all of her friends and family away. So when Klaus found her on one of his road trips and offered her the chance to take away all the pain, she voluntarily took it.

Obviously, Piper thinks that being a hybrid is a gift. She’s forever thankful to Klaus for what he did for her, even making a big change by going with him back to Mystic Falls. When learning about the sire bond, she’s in denial, claiming she still has her own free will and is just loyal to Klaus. Now that she’s been relieved of turning once a month, Piper has started to return back to the optimistic, friendly, yet somewhat reserved girl she was before the incident. She’s enrolled in the local college, which provides a good cover-up for her appearance in town, and she gets to continue to study literature like she had always wanted. Tyler is the first person she has met in Mystic Falls and is constantly trying to get him to see Klaus in the light she does. She met Stefan the same time she met Klaus, as he was accompanying the hybrid, and she’s not sure what to think about him, since she has a feeling he’s not completely behind Klaus. When she’s not at school, she can usually be found around the Mikaelson mansion. While she’s very faithful to Klaus, she’s intrigued by some of the other Mikaelsons, like Elijah. He seems wise and much more levelheaded than most other vampires. Though she loves their company, she gets tired of only having guys to talk to. This leads her to spend a good bit of time at the shop Kayla works at, finding it easy to talk to the girl. Piper is careful not to let slip what she is. She knows how the town feels about hybrids and isn’t too keen on becoming an outcast.
